Korean Fencing Team Shares What They Promise to Do This Time on Knowing Bros

They promised this as they could not do this nine years ago.

The Korean men's fencing team has revealed that they have promised to do something when they came back to Korea after winning the gold medal after nine years of waiting.

The A-fengers, consisting of Olympic gold medalists Kim Junghwan, Gu Bon-gil, Kim Junho, and Oh Sang-uk, have appeared on Knowing Bros, the first time the team appeared outside the sports arena.

They are currently enjoying the fruits of their endeavor, as they have successfully brought home the gold medal for the team fencing event in the Tokyo Olympics held a few weeks ago.

Asked by the members of the show on how they felt, they said that they never expected that they would be welcomed by the country very much that they constantly receive calls from friends and family, even very distant relatives and people with the slightest connection to them.

The eldest of the team, Kim Junghwan, also shared that they promised to accept every casting offer they receive once they go back to Korea after the Olympics, something they were not able to do when they won the gold medal in the London Olympics nine years ago.

According to him, they were not able to do it because they were all naive and timid that time, and now that it happened again, they will get the best out of their 15 minutes of fame since they don't know when this will happen again. Lee Sugeun jokingly told them that they are also booked to do a fishing variety show next week, to which Kim Junghwan jokingly accepted the offer, saying they will go there too.

Aside from Knowing Bros, they also appeared on the SBS variety show All the Butlers, while some of them appeared individually in other television programs.
