Yuju is the latest member of GFRIEND to be signed into an artist agency, this one by Kang Daniel's Konnect Entertainment.

Several news outlets have reported that Yuju is in talks to join Konnect Entertainment last month. However, Konnect said that nothing is confirmed, as they have also scouted other artists to expand their reach in the music industry. They acknowledged the fact, however, that they met with Yuju and discussed the possibility of getting represented by the company.

Konnect Entertainment has also been in touch with CL, since they are the ones going to be in charge with her Korean comeback promotions. Kang Daniel is also the CEO of the agency, and many people have enjoyed their working environment with the company.

Other GFriend members have signed contracts to different agencies as well. Yerin signed with Sublime Artist Agency, home to GOT7's Youngjae and other artists, while leader Sowon signed to IOK Company as an actress.

GFRIEND disbanded after all the members have conflicting interests, therefore not coming to a consensus with the company Source Music. Their abrupt disbandment brought anger and disappointment to the fans, who claimed Source Music could have done so much better.
