After some speculations, MAMAMOO's Wheein has finally announced that she signed up with THE L1VE, a new agency founded by VIXX's Ravi. The company has welcomed her in their official social media accounts, posting new photos of her as a welcome post. Wheein also shared the same photos on her official Instagram page, with a heartwarming caption announcing her new milestone in life and hoping Moomoo's would support her in this new chapter of her life.

Wheein is the only member to not sign a contract renewal on her former agency RBW Entertainment, while the rest of the members still signed to the company. However, RBW Entertainment clarified that MAMAMOO is not disbanded. They will still promote as a group, while working with Wheein's schedules under her new agency.

She joins Ailee in the new agency, along with Ravi.
