Members of f(x) have posted in honor of their 12th debut anniversary.

On September 5, 2009, f(x) made their television debut on Music Core to promote their debut single, LA chA TA. The group has had popular songs such as Nu ABO, Hot Summer, Electric Shock, Rum Pum Pum Pum, Red Light, and 4 Walls during their career. Since 2016, the members of f(x) have concentrated on their respective acting, music, and other endeavors.

Amber tweeted an old photo of f(x) with the English text, "Happy 12th to f(x)!!!" on September 5, 2021. Thank you, MeU, for your unwavering support and unforgettable memories. I'm still not sure what's going on in this photo, but we look awesome as hell haha. Vic, Luna, Sulli, and Krystal are missing you.” She called to the members by their warm nicknames in Korean.

Luna released a group photo for a magazine session, while Krystal posted teaser photos from Pinocchio. Before posting further images with the other members, Victoria shared with Red Light, their last complete promotion as a group with Sulli.

This means that f(x) is not disbanded, as many have thought since only Victoria is the one staying in SM Entertainment, them overseeing her Chinese promotions and activities. Fans are still optimistic to see them come back for a performance.
