Eric Nam is known for being a fantastic singer, songwriter, and superb content creator. But did you know that he also cooks? Eric shows us a different side of him in his Nam Noms videos on YouTube, wherein he takes us with him in his culinary adventures in and out of the kitchen.
In his latest Nam Noms video, Eric shows us how he makes tteokbokki (which turned into rabokki later on in the video) and explains how he likes them.
Tteokbokki is a popular Korean street food. You can usually find this in small food stalls and restaurants all around Korea.
Tteokbokki are stir-fried rice cakes cooked in a delicious sauce that is the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and savory. You can make the sauce with gochujang paste, sugar, and soy sauce. You can also add fish cakes, sausages, scallions, and hard-boiled eggs. You can even melt some cheese on top of your tteokbokki to add to the flavor. There is no one way to prepare this snack, you can decide what you want to put in your tteokbokki. Some people like tteokbokki with ramyeon noodles; this combination is called rabokki.
Tteokbokki is a tasty snack that is relatively easy to make. You can follow Eric's recipe below or even make a personal twist to it. Enjoy!
