Ko Young-yeol was noted for his stunning performances in different TV broadcasts such as Immortal Masterpieces (KBS) and Phantom Singer (JTBC). The singer is applauded for his fresh music and charms in his performances.

In a concert held at Gyeonggi-do Art Center in March, the singer announced that he was preparing a regular album with songs he composed. The singer's album entitled 'Shinbo Chowol' is an album that adds pansori creation and national music to a variety of genres such as national music, pop, ballad, and jazz.  

In commemoration of the album's release, concerts will be held at Hanjeon Art Center on the 9th and 10th of October.
