This month's brand reputation rankings for male idol groups have been released by the Korean Business Research Institute.
The rankings were determined using big data collected from August 11 to September 11 and an analysis of consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of numerous boy groups. Advertisers are known to use this list to check whose boy groups have the best reputation in public to promote products and services for the companies.
BTS took the top spot for the 40th consecutive month in September, with a brand reputation index of 7,630,367. In the group's keyword analysis, the highest-ranking phrases were Billboard, China, and fan club, while the highest-ranking related terms were achieve, recapture, and halt. The positivity-negativity analysis performed by BTS yielded a score of 60.71 percent positive reactions.
Stray Kids jumped to second place in the rankings after a 105.95 percent increase in their brand reputation index since August. For the month, the group's total score was 2,446,281.
Meanwhile, NCT ranked third in September, with a brand reputation index of 2,355,419 points.
And at last, THE BOYZ ranked fourth this month with a brand reputation index of 2,271,646, while SEVENTEEN rounded out the top five with a score of 2,265,192.
Interesting inclusions in the list include BIGBANG, ONF, Golden Child, FTISLAND, and MIRAE. Both BIGBANG and FTISLAND are both on hiatus, while Mirae is the only 2021 boy group to be included in the list.
