On Kang Daniel's mental health

He was diagnosed with depression and panic disorder in 2019.

At first glance, Kang Daniel seems to have it all—fame, fortune, and the ability to make people swoon with a smile and a wink. You wouldn’t be able to tell that he has mental health problems just by looking at him. But he does.

He was diagnosed with depression and panic disorder in 2019. He stopped promoting for a while to focus on his recovery, but he has since bounced back. He even wrote about his struggles on the song “PARANOIA,” which he released earlier this year.

But before he turned his pain into one heck of a bop, his condition almost ruined his personal and professional lives. He lost interest in everything due to his depression, which also made him feel hopeless and sad all the time.

Meanwhile, his panic disorder caused him to have terrible panic attacks. Panic disorder can interfere with a person’s daily life, because those who have go to great lengths to avoid situations that they think could trigger an attack. As a result, they may neglect important obligations like work.

Fortunately, he eventually managed to get his life back on track. He has since put out the album YELLLOW, which was bannered by “PARANOIA” and “Antidote.” He also released “Outerspace (feat. Loco)” via Universe Music.

I’m happy he’s back and doing well, but I hope the people around him will give Daniel the support he needs so he can live his best life. Not just for himself, but for DANITY (his fans) as well.
