YG Entertainment’s lead girl group - BLACKPINK has yet again broken another record as their hit song ‘Ddu du ddu du’ received the highest number of views among K-pop group videos.

The agency has released a statement that the music video which was released on June 15, 2018, has finally reached 1.7 billion views on Youtube at 7 in the evening on the 23rd.

The song which is the lead single of their album Square Up was the main reason why the group was able to join  UK’s Official Trending Chart. Ddu du ddu du also ranked #40 on the U.S. Billboard chart and #55 on the “Hot 100” on its debut. The music video which highlights the unique charms of the four members was also loved for its addictive chorus and choreography.  

YG Entertainment’s pride has recently been making records as the group’s youngest member, garnered 200 million views for her song “LALISA” as of today.
