Itzy to debut Japanese album on December

KPop group ITZY announced that they would make their formal debut in Japan on December 22 with the release of their finest Japanese album.

On September 1, ITZY unveiled their Japanese digital album, 'WHAT'z ITZY,' following its local debut. With this, the official Japanese debut album and greatest album, ‘IT'z ITZY,' was confirmed to be released on December 22nd, and the group was introduced as a K-pop trendy girl group.

 

'DALLA DALLA,' 'ICY,' 'WANNABE' (WANNABE), 'Not Shy,' and 'M.P.A.' are among the songs on this album, which was released by Warner Music Japan. There are also Japanese renditions of popular songs like 'In the morning' and 'LOCO.'

 

The Japanese version of the song and music video for 'WANNABE' was published in advance on November 1 ahead of the release of Japan's finest album, 'IT'z ITZY.' The group, who has a reputation as a 'stage artisan' selected their own subjects for their song videos ranging from military dances in planes to showcasing tremendous charm and overwhelming energy.

ITZY will host an online live 'ITZY JAPAN DEBUT SHOWCASE "IT'z ITZY"' on December 18 to celebrate their Japanese debut and have their first encounter with the local MIDZY (fandom name: Believe).

 

After garnering early attention from the local media with news of its arrival into the Japanese music business, ITZY, which has established itself as the "representative of 4th generation K-pop girl group," demonstrated its impact by joining the Twitter trend list.

 

 

The 1st full-length album, 'CRAZY IN LOVE' (Crazy in Love), was released in September of this year and is currently topping Japan's iTunes K-pop album chart and pop chart, as well as the local representative music download site Line Music Album Chart, Mora's overseas album chart, and Amazon Japan. It was the best-selling album of all time.

In April, the mini-album 'GUESS WHO' was rated 6th on the Japanese Oricon Chart Weekly Album Ranking (2021.05.17.23) and 5th on the Billboard Japan Download Album Chart.

 

Furthermore, ITZY demonstrated a strong worldwide presence by debuting at 11th on the Billboard main chart 'Billboard 200' on the 9th of October with their first full-length album, and 99th on the 16th, arriving in the top three major Billboard charts for two weeks in a row. The international rise of these 4th generation K-pop female groups, who have achieved amazing success, is being recognized.
