NCT Jaehyun to Act in Lee Byunghun Drama Remake

The story is quite interesting and controversial, indeed.

Jaehyun of NCT has decided on his next acting assignment!

Jaehyun will be appearing in a drama version of the 2001 film "Bungee Jumping of Their Own," according to industry sources who confirmed the news on November 2.

SM Entertainment verified the news and stated that "it is true that Jaehyun will be appearing in an OTT drama adaptation of the film 'Bungee Jumping of Their Own,'" which is a remake of the film "Bungee Jumping of Their Own."

It was first released in 2001 as a film about high school teacher Seo In Woo (Lee Byung Hun), who is fighting to come to terms with the loss of his fiancée In Tae Hee (Kim Soo Hyun) (Lee Eun Joo). The plot of the film is around what occurs when he meets a male student called Im Hyun Bin (Yeo Hyun Soo), who has similar characteristics to In Tae Hee.

In the remake, Jaehyun has been cast in the character of Im Hyun Bin, which was previously played by Yeo Hyunsoo.

In addition to being produced by Choi Nak Kwon, who was also involved in the production of the original film, the drama remake of "Bungee Jumping of Their Own" will be directed by Kim Jong Hyuk, who has directed dramas such as "Spring Day," "Quiz of God: Reboot," and "Quiz of God: Reboot."

The drama will be divided into 16 episodes, each of which will last 25 minutes. In January, filming is slated to begin, and the remake is expected to launch on Kakao TV in the second half of 2022, according to the company.
