How much did SEVENTEEN's DK pay for his new investment?

Find out exactly how much that building cost him!

Aside from being a talented actor and singer, SEVENTEEN’s DK can now add one more title to his name—that of landlord.

According to reports, the Pledis Entertainment artist and XCalibur male lead recently splashed out on a five-story commercial building in Sinsa-dong, a ward of Gangnam-gu in Seoul, South Korea. This district boasts of many boutiques, cafés, churches, department stores, hair salons, and restaurants.

The building DK bought is said to be located in the vicinity of Apgujeong station, a rapid transit station on Seoul Subway Line 3. That area is also currently undergoing rapid development. He reportedly paid a 6.8 billion KRW (5.8 million USD) for the building, and he did so in two installments. He made his first payment on August 13, 2021, and paid off the balance last October 29.

Finally, to expedite the process of securing a loan to pay for the building, DK also established a corporation named Road K. (Some reports say its name is stylized as “Roa.DK.”) The corporation is listed as the registered owner of the building. Since DK is Road K’s sole and largest shareholder, that also makes him the building’s only legal owner.

Can you say “wise investment,” Carats?
