Rowoon from SF9 will co-star in a new drama with Kim Hee Sun.
Kim Hee Sun previously revealed in July that he will be joining the cast of MBC's forthcoming drama "Tomorrow". Rowoon was cast in the lead role of the drama on November 4, today.
"Tomorrow" will chronicle the narrative of Choi Joon Woong, who is unlucky enough to be in an accident while looking for work. As a consequence, he meets grim reapers Goo Ryun and Lim Ryoong Goo, who collaborate to save the lives of individuals contemplating suicide, and he ends up joining their underworld squad as their youngest member.
Goo Ryun, the courageous and charming grim reaper who commands the "Danger Management Team," will be played by Kim Hee Sun. She drives people away and does not establish bonds to those around her because of her ice-cold attitude.
Rowoon will play Choi Joon Woong in the drama. His character is a long-term job seeker who has several certificates but is unable to find work. He wakes up in a coma as a result of the "Danger Management Team's" error and begins working with them.
Rowoon will not only elicit pity for long-term job searchers and new contract employees who have made errors, but will also bring empathy and consolation by saving those who choose to die. In past dramas such as "Extraordinary You" and "She Would Never Know," he demonstrated his strong acting abilities and ability to bring a character to life.
"We believed Rowoon was suitable for the character of Choi Joon Woong," the drama's creators said. We feel he will be able to showcase his fresh charms and profound acting talents in 'Tomorrow.' The meeting between rising actor Rowoon and the trustworthy production team is likely to generate explosive synergy, so please look forward to it and show a lot of curiosity."
"Tomorrow" will have 16 episodes and will broadcast in the first half of 2022.
