Hunting Dogs Complete Its Casting With Lee Sangyi and Heo Joon-ho

The Netflix drama also stars Kim Saeron and Park Sungwoong.

The cast of the upcoming Netflix series "Hunting Dogs" has been unveiled.

"Hunting Dogs," based on a webtoon of the same name, is an action noir about three guys who want to get out of debt and get connected as a result of debt. Kim Joo Hwan, director of "Midnight Runners" and "The Divine Fury," will write and direct the drama.

Park Sung Woong's agency C-JeS already stated that he will feature in the drama, and on November 5, the drama revealed that Woo Do Hwan, Kim Sae Ron, Lee Sang Yi, and Heo Joon Ho will join him.

To begin, Woo Do Hwan will play Gun Woo, who entered the world of loan sharks to repay his debts. He was a promising boxer who won Rookie of the Year before meeting Mr. Choi and becoming a bodyguard.

Lee Sang Yi will play Woo Jin, a boxer who meets Gun Woo as a rival but finds up collaborating with him. Woo Jin, who has some expertise with daily installment loans, will assist Gun Woo, who is unfamiliar with the private loan industry.

Park Sung Woong's role is Myeong Gil, a nasty loan shark with sinister goals who will clash with Mr. Choi.

Kim Sae Ron will play Hyun Joo, Mr. Choi's successor who is like family to him. Mr. Choi will be played by legendary actor Heo Joon Ho. He was formerly a private loan legend, but now he gives money to ill people without charging interest. Curiosity is already building about why he left his thriving private lending firm and what type of history he is concealing.

Studio N, Seed Films, and SEVEN O SIX will co-produce "Hunting Dogs."
