2 Days 1 Night CP Finally Breaks Silence About Kim Seonho's Departure

He said that the members will stay as five for now.

Lee Hwang Sun, the show's chief producer (CP), has replied to the petitions surrounding Kim Seon Ho's resignation from the series.

After a scandal erupted over an anonymous tweet made by his ex-girlfriend, Kim Seon Ho officially quit the program. Before departing from numerous projects, including "2 Days 1 Night," the actor confirmed that he was the person she was referring to in her tweet and issued an apology. Several stories have been published in the weeks thereafter, disputing the original accusations in the anonymous message, but neither Kim Seon Ho nor his agency have responded on them.

Until November 7, the "2 Days 1 Night Season 4" production team trimmed Kim Seon Ho out of as much available material as feasible. On November 7, the first program without him aired for the first time. Fans have signed petitions on KBS's viewers' rights center condemning the actor's expulsion from the show and appealing for his return in recent weeks.

On November 8, CP Lee Hwang Sun, as a representative of the show's production crew, reacted directly to the petitions.

First and foremost, we'd want to express our gratitude to the fans of '2 Days 1 Night' who have shared their vital feedback with us.

Kim Seon Ho's departure from the program was confirmed by KBS on October 20.

We'd want to emphasize that both parties engaged in a negotiating process before making that announcement.

The production team also laments that we will no longer be able to showcase the strong chemistry between the six members who have experienced each other's joys and sorrows for the last two years.

However, we will continue to try our best to provide fans with a pleasant broadcast in the future.

Once again, we appreciate your helpful input.
