"Kang Ki-young gave birth to a boy on the 12th," Kang Ki-agency young's Namoo Actors said on the 15th.

Kang Ki-young married a non-celebrity woman three years her junior in May of 2019.

He made his acting debut in 2009 and has since appeared in dramas such as 'King of High School Life,' 'Oh My Ghostess,' 'Let's Fight Ghost,' 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim,' and films such as 'Exit,' 'The Most Ordinary Romance,' and 'Jasan Eobo,' among others. He has also appeared on the entertainment programs 'Me Mystery' and 'Pet Kage'.

Meanwhile, Kang Ki-young is gearing up for the release of Im Soon-Rye's film 'Negotiation,' as well as confirming his role in the Netflix drama 'Strange Lawyer Woo Young-woo,' set to premiere next year.
