The film's strength is the honest, genuine, yet unrealistic dialogue. "I am also a spectator who enjoys movies with funny lines," stated director Jeong, "so when I created my films, I wanted that 'I want the audience to believe that the lines are intriguing." Every time an idea came to me, I put it together."
Director Jung's first commercial film is 'Romance Without Dating.' In 'Romance Without Love,' director Jung, who has won praise for his frank and powerful portrayal of love and desire in prior films, tapped into his skills. "I wanted to write a delightful romantic comedy," he stated emphatically. "The previous works had a lot more stories in my head," he continued, "but since commercial films are a project that requires a lot of people's sympathy, I develop with the things in my head, a producer and a writer of adaptations, and we received feedback from people and gathered opinions, starting from the script planning stage," he explained.
