'Butter' by BTS has officially been voted Record of the Year by Variety magazine!

Variety released the names of the honorees for its annual Hitmakers event on November 19 at 5:00 p.m. local time in New York City. At an invitation-only brunch hosted by streaming service Peacock, the prize winners will be recognized later in the month.

According to Variety, BTS's "Butter" will be earning the Record of the Year award in 2021, and the group has produced a unique video for the celebration brunch to accompany the award presentation.

The "Hitmakers" party will take place on December 4 at a time that is convenient for you. Other musicians that will be honored at the star-studded event include Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Lana Del Rey, Jack Harlow, Normani, and more. Tickets for the event are available here.
