Season 2 of TVING's original sitcom "Work Later, Drink Now" is expected to premiere soon!
"Work Later, Drink Now," based on a webtoon, tells the story of three ladies whose life ideals revolve on having a drink after getting off work. Apink's Jung Eun Ji portrays origami YouTuber Kang Ji Goo, while Lee Sun Bin portrays television scriptwriter Ahn So Hee, Han Sun Hwa portrays yoga teacher Han Ji Yeon, and Apink's Lee Sun Bin portrays television scriptwriter Ahn So Hee. Choi Siwon, a member of Super Junior, co-stars as Kang Book Goo, a variety show producer and director (PD).
Since its launch on October 22, the number of TVING customers has more than doubled, demonstrating the network's widespread appeal. The highlight film, which was posted on YouTube, had a total of 1.3 million views.
In a statement released on November 23, industry leaders stated that the drama's production team has opted to produce a second season and has begun preparing for filming. They also stated that Lee Sun Bin, Han Sun Hwa, and Jung Eun Ji have been offered the opportunity to return for the second season, and that they have given it a good evaluation.
Following the publication of the article, a source from "Work Later, Drink Now" indicated that the show's producers were "positively discussing [the prospect of a second season] with the production firm."
In the last episode of "Work Later, Drink Now," which will run on November 26, there will be a surprise appearance by the cast.
