Gong Yoo and Bae Doona are headed for a bewildering secret task in new “The Silent Sea” character posters featuring its principal cast!

The Silent Sea is Netflix’s highly-anticipated series that is set in 2075 on a deserted Earth. A secret team is then deployed into an abandoned research station on the moon, wherein a shocking revelation awaits them.

In Netflix’s newly-released set of character posters, the actors can be seen wearing their spacesuits, seemingly ready yet anxious to take off into a new, mysterious and unpredictable journey to discover what lies ahead of them.

Bae Doona portrays the space biologist Song Ji Ahn, who is known for her cold and straightforward demeanor. Meanwhile, Gong Yoo plays Han Yoon Jae, the team leader who isn't afraid to put his life on the line when things become tough. His top goal is the safety of his team which makes him constantly at the forefront of missions, no matter how challenging or unknown they may be.

On the other hand, Ryu Tae Seok, a senior engineer who volunteers for a life-threatening expedition, is played by Lee Joon. Han Yoon Jae trusts him because of his exceptional ability to complete missions. Lee Moo Saeng plays Gong Soo Hyuk, a solid soldier who is also the head of security, and Kim Sun Young plays Hong Ga Young, the team medic who joins the expedition to fulfill her duties as a doctor.

The Silent Sea will premiere on Netflix on December 24 and watch as the team unfolds the secret on this expedition to the moon.
