"I wrote this script in 2009, 12 years ago," director Hwang Dong Hyuk explained. I gave it my all, but no one liked it. People said it was unrealistic, too violent, absurd, and strange. It took 12 years to create and present this show to the public. And it only took 12 days to become the world's most popular show." "If there's a miracle, this is it," he continued. That is what happened to me. All I have to say is thank you. Thank you for watching it and appreciating it."

"Squid Game" deserves congratulations!
