Actor Kim Soo-Ro Tests Positive For COVID-19

Wishing him a speedy recovery soon.

Kim Soo Ro, a South Korean actor, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Kim Soo Ro was in the midst of filming the upcoming drama "Starting Today, We" (literal translation), which would include performers such as Im Soo Hyang, Sung Hoon, and Hong Eun Hee as the main characters. In the same vein as the American rom-com "Jane the Virgin," which is based on a Venezuelan soap, "Starting Today, We" is a Korean remake of the American rom-com.

The following statement was issued by Kim Soo Ro's agency on December 1:

We are SM CC.

Kim Soo Ro underwent a preemptive COVID-19 test on November 26 in order to prepare for filming the drama, and the findings were negative, as expected. Because of this, he participated in the filming on November 27 and 28, as scheduled.

But he began to feel poorly on November 29 and voluntarily submitted to a COVID-19 test, for which he obtained positive results the next day (November 30).

Kim Soo Ro has already received all of her vaccinations and was planning on having a booster shot in the near future. After being told to undergo self-quarantine, he is currently self-isolating in his residence.

COVID-19 was found to be absent in the samples taken from Im Soo Hyang, Sung Hoon, and Hong Eun Hee, according to their respective agencies. None of the other cast members have been confirmed to have tested positive, according to reports.

We hope that Kim Soo Ro will be able to recuperate soon.
