Son Dam Bi and Lee Kyou Hyuk, a former national long track speed skater, have started dating!
"Son Dam Bi and coach Lee Kyou Hyuk are in a relationship," a source from Son Dam Bi's agency H Entertainment revealed to Sports Chosun on December 2nd. The two of them used to be friends, and they say it's been about three months since they began dating."
According to a source from Lee Kyou Hyuk's agency IHQ, the two have progressed from being friends to being lovers, though they are not yet at the stage where they are considering marriage.
Earlier in the day, JTBC News reported that Son Dam Bi and Lee Kyou Hyuk began dating at the beginning of the year and that they both enjoy golf as a common interest. According to the news outlet, the majority of their acquaintances are aware of their relationship because they do not try to keep it hidden on purpose.
Son Dam Bi made his singing debut in 2007 and has since gone on to have several hit singles, including "Crazy" and "Saturday Night." She began acting in 2009 and gained recognition for her performance in the 2019 film "When the Camellia Blooms."
Previously, Lee Kyou Hyuk competed in long track speed skating and was a four-time winner of the Speed Skating World Cup. He had previously set the world records for the 1000 meters and 1500 meters in 1997 and 2001, respectively. Following his retirement, he began appearing on variety shows, and in September of this year, he signed with IHQ.
