J-Hope Sets Record as First Korean Solo Artist to Reach 8M Followers on Spotify

Congratulations on this new record!

When it comes to the number of followers he has on Spotify, J-Hope of BTS has broken the previous record!

After reaching over 8 million followers on the music streaming platform as of December 3, J-Hope made history by becoming the first Korean solo artist to do so.

In the previous week, on August 21, J-Hope passed the 7 million follower mark, indicating that he has gained an impressive 1 million followers in only 105 days.

J-Hope is also ranked No. 5 in the list of Korean artists with the most Spotify followers, trailing only BTS, BLACKPINK, TWICE, and EXO in the list.

In addition to the solo tracks that have been included in BTS's albums, J-Hope has eight additional solo tracks that have been registered under his name on Spotify. Among these are the songs from his solo mixtape "Hope World," as well as "Chicken Noodle Soup," a song he wrote in collaboration with Becky G and released as a collaboration with her.

J-Hope deserves to be congratulated!
