Running Man and How Do You Play Remains as Top Variety Shows for December in Korea

The first place is a singing program.

The Korean Business Research Institute has released its brand reputation rankings for variety shows for the month of February!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety shows, which was conducted using big data collected from November 5 to December 5, and was based on data collected between those dates.

"Tomorrow's National Singer" on TV Chosun maintained its position atop the list this month, benefiting from a 48.14 percent increase in its brand reputation index since November. The show's keyword analysis revealed that "rival battle," "ratings," and "semifinals" were among the most popular phrases, while the most popular related terms were "compete," "confirm," and "vote," according to the results. The program's positivity-negativity analysis revealed that positive reactions accounted for 75.42 percent of all responses.

"Running Man" on SBS rose to second place in the rankings for December, thanks to a 7.19 percent increase in the program's brand reputation index since the previous month.

"How Do You Play?" on MBC, meanwhile, came in third place, despite only a modest 3.10 percent increase in its own score.
