Jang Dongmin is Getting Married

Congratulations and best wishes to the couple!

Jang Dong Min, a Korean comedian, is getting married!

On December 6, it was reported that Jang Dong Min was engaged to be married later this month to a woman who was not a member of the entertainment industry.

Later, his management company, LD Story, issued a statement confirming the development.

Hello, this is the LD Story agency, which represents comedian Jang Dong Min.

The following is our agency's statement, as well as Jang Dong Min's statement, in response to allegations of Jang Dong Min's marriage.

The wedding of Jang Dong Min will take place on the island of Jeju on December 19. We were unable to provide this information in advance since the couple was considering postponing their wedding due to the deterioration of the COVID-19 issue, which had just gotten worse. However, after consulting with the parents on both sides, and because all of the arrangements had been completed, it was agreed to hold the wedding in the most private setting imaginable.

Invitations to the wedding will be sent only to the families on both sides, as well as their closest friends. There will only be two guests from Jang Dong Min's star colleagues: Yoo Se Yoon and Yoo Sang Moo, who are close friends of the actor and are also hosting the wedding.

Due to the fact that Jang Dong Min's fiancée is not a star and has no connection to the entertainment business, we are unable to provide any information about her. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. Thank you very much.

The following is the statement made by Jang Dong Min.

Hello, my name is Jang Dong Min and I'd want to introduce myself. I'm a little embarrassed to be breaking the news of my marriage to you at such a short notice.

I've met the most wonderful person I've ever met in my life. I intend to marry the lady I adore and to begin a new family with her after we are married. As the oldest of Ongdalsaem [a comedic three that includes Yoo Se Yoon and Yoo Sang Moo], I am also the last to get married, which means I have received a lot of advise from the younger kids as I cautiously prepare for my own wedding. After I am married, I will take on this larger duty and work diligently while also living happily ever after. Thank you again to everyone who has expressed their congratulations.

Jang Dong Min made his television debut in 2004 as a KBS comedian, and has since appeared on a number of variety and chat shows throughout Korea.

Best wishes to the newlywed couple!
