tVN Reveals New Stills of Rain and Kim Bum for “Ghost Doctor”

Are you excited to see more from this "Ghost Doctor" tandem?

New stills of Rain and Kim Bum in character have been released for tvN's upcoming drama "Ghost Doctor" (literal title).

"Ghost Doctor," directed by Boo Sung Chul ("Heirs"), is a fantasy medical drama about two doctors who are worlds apart in terms of their histories, skills, and personalities, but who end up merging bodies and spirits. Rain will play Cha Young Min, a brilliant thoracic surgeon, and Kim Bum will play silver-spoon resident Go Seung Tak.

Cha Young Min, Rain's character, is a brilliant doctor with a flair for saving people through his surgical skills. He has a good appearance and an impressive resume, but his disposition is arrogant and egotistical. Kim Bum's character Go Seung Tak, on the other hand, is a very clever local who comes from a privileged home. Go Seung Tak was born into a wealthy family with a smart mind, and he had every benefit growing up. As they become entangled with each other, the two are predicted to undergo significant changes.

Cha Young Min and Go Seung Tak are seen face to face in the freshly released stills. With his round glasses, Cha Young Min emanates academic attractiveness, yet his frigid eyes exude coldness. With his pleasant and carefree smile, Go Seung Tak attracts attention. In terms of style and demeanor, the two doctors are opposed, and whenever they meet, they will engage in a fiery battle of nerves.

In the other photo, the two can be seen walking side by side. They generate very different vibes, but all of the women in the building admire them. The anticipation for their future bromance is enormous.

"Cha Young Min and Go Seung Tak, who have contrasting characteristics, will become involved with each other owing to an unintentional incident," the production team said. Please keep an eye on their relationship and the exciting events that will occur once they go through a major life change. Please pay special attention to Rain and Kim Bum's passionate performances, which will bring their characters to life."

The first episode of "Ghost Doctor" will run on January 3 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
