Yoo Hee Yeol Tests Positive For COVID-19

The celebrated singer-songwriter is diagnosed with COVID-19

Yoo Hee Yeol, the famous musician and Antenna CEO, has been reportedly diagnosed with COVID-19. 

On Saturday, December 11, entertainment agency Antenna announced that their CEO, Yoo Hee Yeol, has tested positive with COVID-19. Yoo Hee Yeol was fully vaccinated in August.

 

Antenna's full statement can be found below:

"Hello, this is Antenna.

Yesterday morning, December 10, our artist Yoo Hee Yeol underwent a self-test for a scheduled activity later that day, and because he received a suspicious result, he immediately cancelled his scheduled activity and underwent [PCR] testing for COVID-19.

Although Yoo Hee Yeol had already completed his vaccination and received his second dose at the end of August, he learned last night (December 10) that he had tested positive for COVID-19.

Yoo Hee Yeol is currently carrying out all necessary measures according to the instructions of government health authorities, and our agency’s staff members who came into contact with him are in the process of undergoing testing for COVID-19.

Our agency will adhere to government health authorities’ policies, and we will do everything we can for the health and safety of our artists and staff.
