It was a green light for "Squid Game," the tremendous global smash that became Netflix's largest TV program in its inaugural release, for Twitter users. The Korean drama was the year's most-tweeted-about television show.
According to newly disclosed Twitter statistics, "Squid Game" was followed by Disney Plus' "WandaVision," "Sesame Street," "Saturday Night Live," and "Game of Thrones" in the United States.
Meanwhile, "Black Panther," the 2018 Marvel blockbuster starring the late Chadwick Boseman, was the most-tweeted-about title in the cinema world. That does not include tweets about "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," the sequel planned for release on Nov. 11, 2022. With "Godzilla versus Kong," "Zack Snyder's Justice League," and 2021's "The Suicide Squad," Warner Bros. claimed the next three slots, followed by Sony/"Spider-Man: Marvel's No Way Home."
