CL made an appearance on the renowned talk show 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' on December 9th. CL performed her song "Lover Like Me" and sat down for an interview with Kelly Clarkson, the show's main host, to discuss her new album "Alpha."

CL startled many during her interview when she disclosed that former professional boxer Mike Tyson and the enthusiasm he brings to the ring was the inspiration for her new album. "Some of the things [Tyson] said [were] stuff like 'before I fight' [and] 'how he feels connected to that," CL explained, adding that she enjoys listening to his podcasts. "Oh, do you see the stage as a boxing arena?" Kelly Clarkson inquired. CL said, "I think it's just about the divide between the emotions you utilize onstage and offstage...and that's what 'Alpha' is about." CL also sang her song "Lover Like Me," wowing the crowd and Kelly Clarkson with her power and presence on the stage.
