Show Me The Money 10 3rd runner-up and Sajah Records artist, Koonta, is appointed as a professor of rap and hip-hop at the musical production course in Hanyang University Institute of Future Talents.
The Hanyang University Institute Future Talents has a large number of veteran rap and hip hop musicians who were also appointed as professors like MC Nachaal, Show Me the Money 2 semi-finalists VMC’s Wootan, Palo Alto, Huckleberry P, Ash B, YUNB, and Cha Boom from SMTM777, Rhymer and Ignito, which lead the institute to establish a specialized hip hop training course.
According to the school, “Professor Ahn Tae Hyun (Koonta) is a veteran among musicians and among veterans,” and “he is a musician who can share his solid musicality with his juniors through steady activities.”
Koonta has made his name among the Korean hip hop fans for switching back and forth between reggae-style rap and vocals, garnerning so much appreciation during Show Me the Money 10. He is the only surviving member of Team Yumdda and TOIL, and eventually placed 4th overall in the season.
