The covid-19 virus has found its way into the entertainment industry. Comedian Yoo Jae Suk has joined the list of Korean entertainers who have contracted the virus, days after the confirmation of singer and broadcaster Yu Hee-Yeol's infection.
His company confirmed that the comedian tested positive for COVID-19 earlier today, December 13, 2021. On the 11th, the Runningman host came into close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case.
Despite the fact that the 49-year-old comedian's first PCR resulted in a negative result, his second PCR revealed a positive result. The star was forced to cancel all of his upcoming events as a result of this.
Fellow entertainer Yu Hee-Yeol tested positive earlier this week, and like Yu Jae-Suk, the singer has finished a second dosage of the vaccination.
"Yu Hee-Yeol is taking the appropriate steps in accordance with the antiabortion authorities' standards, and our contact staff is also performing a covid-19 inspection," the statement said.
We at Kwave are hoping for a speedy recovery for Yu Jae Suk and all entertainers in the industry.
