Rapper NO:EL Admits DUI Charges, Denies Obstruction of Official Duties

What do you think of this ongoing case against NO:EL?

NO:EL (Jang Yong Jun) has admitted to driving while intoxicated, but has denied assaulting a police officer.

On his December 17 trial in Seoul Central District Court, NO:EL's lawyer confirmed the rapper's unlicensed drunk driving, but denied that any obstruction of official duties was intentional. On January 24, 2022, the court will hold a third trial, calling in the police officer who was allegedly assaulted by NO:EL as well as two other officers who were present at the time.

NO:EL was arrested in September for driving without a license, driving under influence,

refusing to do breathalyzer tests, and obstructing the execution of official tasks. Following the issue, the rapper apologized on social media. NO:EL is always involved in controversies in the past, yet he earned no jail time for both his DUI and his attempt to conceal his DUI.
