The results of the investigation into the actor's charges of school violence have been revealed by Kim Dong Hee's legal representative.

An unknown user posted a message on an online community in February titled "Actor Kim Dong Hee, born in 1999, was a school violence perpetrator," with testimony from persons who attended the same high school and Kim Dong Hee's graduation picture as evidence.

"Kim Dong Hee smoked within the classroom by hanging an E-cigarette around his neck or keeping it in the pocket of his school uniform," another netizen claimed. "He smacked the face of a fellow student who has a disability by playing games to their disadvantage, and he made pushovers massage him."

The agency of Kim Dong Hee, NPIO Entertainment, refuted the allegations of school violence and stated that legal action will be taken.

Kim Dong Hee's lawyer Jang Hyun Woo said on December 28 that the actor had been declared free of all claims of school violence in an official statement.

The following is a statement issued by his lawyer:

“Hello.

Here's where we stand on the actor Kim Dong Hee situation.

Kim Dong Hee has spent a long time working with law enforcement agencies to uncover the truth behind the claims made public in February. Kim Dong Hee's plaintiff statement, comments from his instructors and alumni, and copies of his elementary and middle school records were all submitted as part of the procedure. However, because this occurred in elementary school, a long time ago, and there is no concrete evidence to support the various stances and charges, the investigations determined that Kim Dong hee was innocent.

This outcome does not imply that the charges made are genuine. Kim Dong Hee, in particular, was eager to clarify facts regarding bullying a classmate with a disability, therefore I'd want to take this occasion to do so.

Kim Dong Hee grew up in a family that included two persons with disabilities, and despite having a rough upbringing, he tried to protect and cherish his family's anguish and wounds. As a result, erroneous information regarding [his attitude toward] individuals with disabilities caused a great deal of anguish and suffering for not just him, but also his disabled family members.

Because of his poor childhood surroundings, Kim Dong Hee was rebellious at one point, although he never did anything that would generate a social uproar. However, he understood that his immature comments and behavior had wounded some people, and he took the time to reflect thoroughly on himself.

Kim Dong Hee will strive to be a better person in the future.”
