Soloist, rapper, and songwriter B.I’s performance of "Nineteen" for the Grammy’s Global Spin has been finally released on January 4th, making him the 1st Korean and Asian artist to perform in the show.

It has been reported on December 29 that B.I will be the firs ever Korean and Asian artist that was invited on the show to perform. B.I. took part in the arrangement of a song before filming a live stage for the Grammys after getting the idea in December. He performed the song “NINETEEN” which is one of the tracks from his 2nd studio album “Cosmos.”

GRAMMY’s "Global Spin" showcases a wide range of notable music from throughout the world. The biweekly performance series comprises performances by artists and organizations and honors both the creators and their native countries in each episode.

In June of last year, the rapper-songwriter published his debut full-length album, "Waterfall." It topped the iTunes album rankings in 24 different countries. With "Cosmos," which was released in November, he also topped the iTunes music rankings in 15 countries.

B.I's international acclaim grew even more when Time Magazine named his album "Waterfall" as one of the finest K-Pop songs and albums of 2021.
