It's official! Jang Dong Yoon and Nana from After School will star in a new romance drama together!

The two stars will play the roles in the upcoming drama "My Man Is Cupid," it was announced on January 7. (literal translation). The drama, directed by Nam Tae Jin of "Lovers of the Red Sky" and "Switch," will depict the story of a fairy who falls in love after being shot by his own arrow.

Jang Dong Yoon will play Chun Sang Hyuk, a fairy who has been stranded on Earth for 500 years after burning his own wings. During his sojourn on Earth, he has assumed 28 different forms in an attempt to reclaim his lost wings. Chun Sang Hyuk, unable to forget his first love, has erected an impenetrable wall around his heart that no woman can penetrate—until he mistakenly shoots himself with his own arrow.

Meanwhile, Nana will play Oh Baek Ryun, a veterinary physician whose beauty causes a lot of men to fall in love with her at first sight. However, everytime she gets involved with someone, they always seem to be in the middle of a life-threatening situation, leading her to give up dating altogether.

"'My Man Is Cupid' will be like an oasis for viewers who have been thirsting for a character-based fantasy romance that they can fall head over heels for," the show's producers said.

"Please express a strong interest in 'My Man Is Cupid,' a romantic comedy about conquering fate that will make viewers' hearts flutter as it sweeps across the bleak everyday lives of 2022," they continued.

The film "My Man Is Cupid" is slated to hit the screen in 2022.
