Kim Bum and Son Na Eun Talks About Their Characters in 'Ghost Doctor' in Elle Korea February Issue

Check out Kim Bum and Son Na Eun's pictorial and interview below.

Kim Bum and Apink's Son Naeun, co-stars in "Ghost Doctor," just shot a photo shoot for Elle!

"Ghost Doctor," directed by Boo Sung Chul ("Heirs"), is a new fantasy medical drama about two doctors who are worlds apart in terms of their histories, skills, and personalities, but who end up merging bodies and spirits. Rain plays Cha Young Min, a brilliant thoracic surgeon, and Kim Bum plays silver-spoon resident Go Seung Tak. Son Naeun plays Oh Soo Jung, an emergency room intern, and Uee plays Jang Se Jin, a neurosurgeon who also happens to be Cha Young Min's ex-girlfriend.

The two actors discussed their synchronicity with their "Ghost Doctor" identities in an interview following the photo session.

"In actuality, I am a pretty quiet person," Kim Bum explained. Even as a child, I preferred reading books and building Lego creations to running about on the playground. However, after playing a gentle character with a high tone [like Go Seung Tak], I'm rediscovering my bright and dynamic side."

"Oh Soo Jung and I are quite different," said Naeun. I felt it would be interesting to play a laid-back, carefree persona who is occasionally amusing. I was also looking forward to playing a doctor."

"I acted with the aim that more people would be fascinated about the relationship between Go Seung Tak and Oh Soo Jung, who neither share an ordinary friendship nor are in love," Son Naeun said of their roles in "Ghost Doctor." That, I believe, is a critical point."

"We're both pretty bashful," Kim Bum remarked when asked about their relationship. Our MBTI personality types are also the same: INTJ. So now I know what [Son Naeun] is concerned about, what she finds challenging, and what [sort of] procedure and time she underwent."

In the February issue of Elle, they will have a complete photo shoot and interview.
