Kim Min Jae, Kim Hyang Gi, and Kim Sang Kyung will star in a new drama soon!

"Kim Min Jae, Kim Hyang Gi, and Kim Sang Kyung are confirmed to star in the drama," the production team of tvN's upcoming drama "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" (literal title) revealed on January 27.

Yoo Se Poong, a well-known internal medicine doctor, is dismissed from the royal court after being caught up in a scheme in the new drama. Following that, he meets Gye Ji Han and Seo Eun Woo in the odd and lovely Gyesu hamlet and sets out to become a true heart doctor. The play is based on the same-named novel.

Kim Min Jae plays Yoo Se Poong, a warm-hearted head acupuncturist with abilities that have earned him the title of "legend of the royal court." He also has the pleasant demeanor of a young man from a well-to-do family. However, in his pursuit of achievement, he gets involved in an unexpected incident and loses his exceptional acupuncture skills.

Kim Min Jae made his humorous debut as Jin Moo Hak in the program "Dali and Cocky Prince" last year, and he'll be transforming into a doctor for his next role. "I acted truly in order to bring some happiness and comfort to viewers," the actor stated. It'll be a fun and pleasant production, so look forward to it and show your support."

Seo Eun Woo, played by Kim Hyang Gi, is a widow with a twist who infers the experiences of those who have been heartbroken. She has exceptional sensitivity and strong observation abilities as the daughter of a noble family. Seo Eun Woo feels betrayed by her hasty marriage, and she is on the verge of inadvertently becoming a decent wife to her departed husband when she meets Yoo Se Poong and undergoes tremendous transformations. "I believe it is a production that will provide warmth to both myself and the viewers," Kim Hyang Gi remarked. I'll do my best to put on a fantastic performance for you."

Finally, Kim Sang Kyung will portray Gye Ji Han, an eccentric doctor. He is the local doctor, yet he hides his warmth under a surly demeanor. Gye Ji Han gives the impression of being materialistic and obsessed with money at first, but the more you get to know him, the more you realize he is a genuine person. Then, one day, he will guide Yoo Se Poong down the path of becoming a genuine heart surgeon.

"Gye Ji Han appears to be an eccentric doctor on the outside, but on the inside, he is a genuinely warm doctor," Kim Sang Kyung said of the character. The second half of this year will see the premiere of "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong."
