The K-pop class at the Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles, which was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will resume after a year.
As the group BTS drew the heat of K-pop in the United States even during the time of Corona 19, local K-pop fans were constantly asking to revive the course, saying, “I want to learn the dance and singing of Korean singers.”
The Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles announced that it will hold the ‘K-Pop Dance and Vocal Academy’ from the 23rd to the 14th of next month.
‘K-Pop Academy’ has been held every year since 2016, but last year it was suspended due to the spread of Corona, and K-Pop related events were not held at all for a year.
An official from the Cultural Center said, "In addition to requests to teach Korean dance and sing professionally from K-POP fans, there were also many inquiries about wanting to show K-pop skills that they practiced alone."
The Cultural Center announced that it will resume offline K-pop classes for vaccinated people and run online classes in parallel.
In addition, he said that he plans to invite professional instructors who participated in the choreography of BTS music videos in Korea and were in charge of dance and vocal lessons for K-pop singers.
