Kangmin, Gyehyeon, Minchan, Yeonho, and Hoyoung of VERIVERY have all tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
Earlier this month, on March 16, Jellyfish Entertainment issued the following statement:
Hello. This is Jellyfish Entertainment, and thank you for visiting.
Kangmin, Gyehyeon, Minchan, Yeonho, and Hoyoung of our agency's VERIVERY have all tested positive for COVID-19 after undergoing PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests.
Verification has been utilizing self-testing kits and doing fast antigen tests as preventative measures prior to participation in scheduled events for quite some time. [The five members] recently confirmed that they had tested positive after undergoing PCR tests after initially showing positive through quick antigen tests.
All of the VERIVERY participants got two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and they are not experiencing any unusual effects at this time.
VERYIVERY has temporarily ceased all scheduled operations and has placed itself in self-quarantine in accordance with the standards set forth by the government's health authorities. Dongheon and Yongseung, who both tested negative, are currently in self-quarantine, where they are closely monitoring their health status.
The agency will do all possible to ensure the health and safety of VERIVERY and the other artists on the bill. We sincerely regret for generating so much anxiety among so many individuals.
VERIVERY is presently preparing to release their new album, "SERIES 'O' [ROUND 0: WHO]," which will be released in early 2019.
Our best wishes to the members of VERIVERY for a swift recovery!
