'The Witch' Sequel To Reportedly Premiere On June

Fans who have waited for long should be happy of this news!

The sequel to 'The Witch: Part 1' was announced on March 25 by a media publication. 'The Witch: The Other One,' a sequel to 'The Subversion,' is set to launch in June. "We are investigating several alternatives, including June," a spokesman from the sequel's team said in reaction to the story, adding, "Nothing besides the cast lineup has been decided."

'The Witch: Part 1' stars Kim Da Mi in the major role of high school student Ja Yoon. In 2018, the show 'The Subversion' aired. After a terrible tragedy that leaves many people dead, a little girl escapes from a secret laboratory in this South Korean mystery horror action film. The girl (Kim Da Mi) learns her telekinetic abilities ten years later. The film finished its first weekend in top place at the South Korean box office, generating over $6 million USD.

Shin Si Ah, a rookie actress who was picked from 1,408 applicants for the lead part in 'The Witch: The Other One,' has been confirmed to star in the highly awaited sequel. Meanwhile, Park Eun Bin will reprise her role as well as Kim Da Mi and Lee Jong Suk, who will make cameo appearances.

In addition, the director of the original film, 'The Witch: Part 1,' is returning. Park Hoon Jung, who directed The Subversion, will also be directing the much-anticipated sequel. Keep an eye out for additional information on 'The Witch: The Other One'!
