One of the topics that buzzed online is the Korean delegation in the Olympics. South Korean athletes have proven the world that they are still a threat and a force to be reckoned with, with several gold medals in different sports such as archery, fencing, and artistic gymnastics. Not only that, some Korean athletes have generated buzz because of their handsome looks. Some people have even said that these athletes can pass off as idol singers and they can debut in an idol group!

We know you want to see more of them, so here are five handsome Korean athletes who can make us swoon.

Jeong Seungwon

Born on January 27, 1997, he is a member of the Korean national football team, playing as a midfielder. He also plays for the Daegu FC, another local football team, and he is in the top tier of the K League 1, considered as the best of the best in Korea in terms of football.

He has been making rounds online due to his handsome looks, which is a cross of EXO's Chen, NCT's Lucas and actor Park Hyungsik. He continues to show his thanks to his fans by reposting their Instagram stories under his official account. His stint in the Korean national football team for the Tokyo Olympics has introduced him to more fans, earning more admiration from people around the world.

Lee Dae-hoon

He is known as one of the most handsome Olympians under the South Korean team. Born in February 5, 1992, he has won the bronze medal in the 2012 London Olympics and the silver medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics. He was supposed to finish off his Olympic career in the Tokyo Olympics, aiming for the gold medal, when he unfortunately lost in the quarterfinals to China. Nevertheless, his achievements in taekwondo are worth bragging for. He can be a proud father to his son (he's married already, unfortunately), and he is still one of the national treasures of South Korea.

Kim Junho

He has an Instagram account but he does not post that much, which says a lot on how mysterious he is to people. However, that did not stop him from earning the love and support of his fans, with his amazing visuals that some people say resemble actors Kim Seon-ho and Choi Taejoon. His name is always brought up to the list of "best-looking Olympians" for years now, and South Korea loves seeing him in action in the Olympics, especially with his gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics under sabre fencing.

Lee Jung-hoo

Lee Junghoo is a great addition to the Korean national baseball team as he is gifted with amazing skills, talent, and is even blessed with idol-like visuals. He is an outfielder playing for the Kiwoom Heroes in the KBO and his father was also a professional baseball player just like hiim. He is a part of the Korean national baseball team who battled against the Dominican Republic last Saturday, but sadly lost, taking the fourth spot. Still, it is not a bad first time for the South Korean baseball team, as they still have more chances in the upcoming Games in Paris in 2024.

Oh Sangwook

The South Korean fencing team does have a lot of visuals in the mix. Aside from the Kim Seonho doppelganger Kim Junho, they also have Oh Sangwook, who is a top candidate for a gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics. His stellar record of wins over different competitors in different competitions has made him a top candidate who will give another gold medal to the South Korean Olympic bucket. Even though he lost in the individual matches, the handsome fencer redeemed himself in the team fencing category, which scooped him a gold medal.
