EVERGLOW's Aisha Received Apologies from Malicious Posters; Yuehua Still to Push Legal Action

They will continue with the legal actions to teach them a lesson.

Some of the people who spread false information about Aisha on the show EVERGLOW have expressed regret.

Yuehua Entertainment, which released a statement in February denying rumors that Aisha was a perpetrator of school violence, stated that they would take "serious legal action" against those who spread the rumors. This month, the agency also officially announced that they would be pursuing legal action against those who spread false information about their artists' reputations online.

On December 7, Yuehua Entertainment released a statement in which they stated that the individuals who had written and spread false rumors about Aisha through online communities had expressed their regrets to her and expressed their gratitude. The following is the full statement issued by the agency:

Hello. This is Yuehua Entertainment on the phone.

We'd like to update you on our [legal] progress in relation to the writing and spreading of false information and defamation against EVERGLOW member Aisha, which is detailed below.

The company had been taking legal action against two individuals who had harmed Aisha's reputation by posting false information about her on online communities in the meantime.

Recently, they admitted that the information they had posted was false and submitted letters of apology, expressing regret for causing psychological harm to the artist and her family as a result of sullying her reputation.

During the course of expressing their regrets to Aisha, they also promised that they would not write any false information in the future. As a result, we informed the authorities of our intention to seek no punishment and dropped charges against the two individuals.

Despite this, our company will continue to respond strongly and without leniency or settlement to malicious posts and any other action that spreads false information, in order to protect the rights of the artists represented by our agency. We will work even harder to prevent situations that are detrimental to the artists represented by our agency through consistent monitoring.

Thank you very much.

EVERGLOW recently released their third mini album, "Return of the Girl," which was released earlier this month.
