Pre-Recording For 2021 MAMA Postponed

A staff member tested positive for COVID-19, halting pre-recording activity for 2021 MAMA

Pre-recording activities for the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) has been postponed after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.

On Tuesday, December 8, the representatives of 2021 MAMA officially announced, "A staff member of one of the artists who also appeared on the live finale of 'Show Me The Money 10' has tested positive for COVID-19. Even though the artist in question tested negative for COVID-19, just for the sake of everyone involved in MAMA, we have decided to postpone the pre-recording for the 2021 MAMA that was originally scheduled for today." The representatives also added, "The pre-recording of the special 'Show Me The Money' 10th anniversary performance will be done without an audience. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenienve we inadvertently caused. Thank you very much."

The highly-anticipated 2021 MAMA will air live on December 11 at 6 PM KST. It will be hosted by none other than the legendary singer herself, Lee Hyori.
