SBS Unveils 2022 Drama Lineup Featuring “Taxi Driver 2,” Lee Joon Gi, Ahn Hyo Seop and More!

Taxi Driver Season 2 is coming your way in 2022!

SBS has released a sneak peek at their upcoming drama program for 2022!

SBS hosted a presentation for advertisers on December 9 to promote their 2022 TV program lineup. The drama lineup was one of the most anticipated aspects of the showcase since SBS dramas have recently been on a roll in terms of audience ratings and buzz.

"Those Who Read Hearts of Evil" (literal translation), starring Kim Nam Gil, will be SBS's first drama of 2022, premiering in January. "Why Oh Soo Jae?" by Seo Hyun Jin and Hwang In Yeop is also set to premiere in the first half of 2022. Other dramas slated for the 2022 release are "A Business Proposal" by Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Sejeong, and "Again My Life" by Lee Joon Gi and Kim Ji Eun.

Another exciting news is that Lee Je Hoon's smash drama "Taxi Driver" will return for a second season in 2022, according to SBS.

It was also announced that writer Kim Eun Hee, the writer behind dramas like “Signal,” Netflix’s “Kingdom” series, and most recently “Jirisan,” was returning to SBS after eight years with a new project. Her last drama at SBS was Son Hyun Joo and Park Yoochun’s “Three Days” in 2014. She had previously written the SBS dramas “Sign” and “Phantom.” In recent years, she has worked for tvN (“Signal,” “Jirisan”) and Netflix (the “Kingdom” series).

A source from SBS later clarified, “We are currently in positive negotiations for Kim Eun Hee’s new project in 2022.”

Which drama series are you looking forward to in 2022?
