It has been well known in and out of the industry that singer-actress IU is one of the kindest celebrities in the Korean enterteainment scene. On December 17, during the broadcast of the KBS Cool FM radio program "Park Myung Soo's Radio Show", commediane and TV personality Park Myung Soo once again relayed his unending praise for IU's character.

DJ Park Myung Soo was talking about famous Christmas songs and one of his listeners suggested to play IU's "Merry Christmas in Advance." After hearing this request, the radio DJ host jokingly commented, "Dear IU, are you satsified that you are dominating every music category out there? What is your reason?" He continued the story by sharing a recent exchange he had with the singer. He said, "A few weeks ago, I contacted her and directly asked her if there is a way she could give me a signed album of hers because my daughter wanted one and is a big fan. IU then sent me her signed album filled with beautiful words for my daughter. I almost cried after receiving it. It's common knowledge to everyone that she is incredibly talented but it is because of her amazing character that she is who she is today."

"When I am with IU, there is no way I won't feel comfortable. She is an amazing musicial after all. Her great presence comes from her sheer talent. Years ago, when we released the duet song 'Leon', she directed my recording and she was a scary director. She would politely say, 'I think it would be best if you did it again'. But that is how you make great music."

In 2015, Park Myung Soo and IU collaborated on a duet song called "Leon" on Infinity Challenge.
