This product doesn't absorb too much in my experience but I it works well overnight on an angry bump. I apply a thick layer overnight and the bump is calm by morning. If i apply a thin layer for day time, it will take some time for it to be absorbed, at least for me it took a bit but eventually it does get absorbed in and it leaves my skin feeling soft. It might leave a light white cast if you apply too much but once I moisturized it went away.
